Optimo: AI Store Optimizer ("the App", "we", "us") is a Shopify application that generates AI-powered product descriptions, buying guides, FAQs, and structured data for your store. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you install and use Optimo: AI Store Optimizer, we collect:
We do not collect or store any customer personal information (names, emails, addresses, order history, or payment data).
Optimo: AI Store Optimizer uses Anthropic (claude.ai) to generate AI content. When you trigger product optimization, your product titles and descriptions are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
Session data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (neon.tech), located in the EU (eu-central-1). Neon's data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Because we hold only shop session tokens (not customer personal data), most GDPR requests related to end customers can be fulfilled by confirming we hold no customer records. To exercise any rights or request data deletion, contact us at the address below.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest. We do not log or retain product content beyond the duration of an enrichment request.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
